Ms. Christie Susan Taylor

Christie Susan Taylor (Bozone) was born February 3rd, 1971 in Blytheville, Arkansas to her mother, Bobbie Knight (Brothers) and father, Bobby Bozone. She attended Blytheville High School and Arkansas Northeastern College (previously known as Mississippi County Community College) and was a devoted Christian, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt who loved animals and nature and was a travel enthusiast who was determined to see the world. She enjoyed painting, reading, and had an extraordinary love for music that made her feel at peace. She loved her grandchildren so much and they all thought she hung the moon when she was present. Christie battled mental illness and faced homelessness leading to her tragic loss. She worked tirelessly as a single mom as she faced her battles to give her children the best life she could. She was such a beautiful and care free spirit that was so kind to everyone she met and even in her homelessness, would offer help to others she did not know. Knowing she was a Christian and loved the Lord, we cling to knowing she is at peace with Jesus. Her beautiful memory will be cherished by those she is survived by: her mother, Bobbie Knight; siblings: Matthew Bozone, Jeannie (Jake) Coronado, Christina (Jimmy) Croney, Brian Knight, Danielle (Scott) Lawrence; children, Zakk (Bailey) Crocker, Candace (Colin) Crawford, and Brett (Ashley) Bozone; grandchildren: Gavin, Cade, and Mason Crocker, Grady Boyd, Owen Crawford, Brooklee and Denver Bozone, James Hawley, Jayden Richards, and Lily Chambliss; and many precious nieces and nephews who she loved very much. She is preceded in Death by her father, Bobby Bozone and step-father, Alfred Knight. Her family and close friends will celebrate her life in a private memorial service at Journey Jonesboro and ask that in lieu of her memory, any donations are made to The HUB Promise House of Jonesboro who are devoted to getting women support in their struggles to end homelessness.
