Mr. David Allen Arnold

David Allen Arnold died unexpectedly on November 20, 2019 in Memphis, Tennessee. Our hearts are breaking today as we realize the depth of our loss. David was bigger than life, smart, bold, opinionated, controversial, outgoing, wild, and full of laughter. He never met a stranger. He was one of a kind – a big-hearted man who loved his family. David was a true car enthusiast and a very talented mechanic who was always lending a helping hand to those in need. He also enjoyed cooking. Christmas was one of his favorite holidays, David enjoyed making homemade candy and treats to share with family, friends, and neighbors. He left a special place in the hearts of all those he touched. David was preceded in death by his grandmother Norma Carpenter and grandfather Willard Bobbitt. He is survived by his best friend and husband Barry Arnold of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one daughter Ava Crane of Destin, Florida; two stepsons Daniel Arnold of Pulaski, Tennessee and William Arnold of Elora, Tennessee; one step-grandson Kennedy Ray Arnold of Fayetteville, Tennessee; his parents Steve and Kattie Granger of Jonesboro, Arkansas; his grandpa Wayne Armstrong of Brookland, Arkansas and his grandma Vivian Bobbitt of Jonesboro, Arkansas; his in-laws John W and Annise Arnold of Elora,Tennessee; six brothers Phillip (Teresa) Granger of Pocahontas, Arkansas, Robby Bobbitt of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Jeremy (Jamie) Granger of Dexter, Missouri, Jonathon (Abigail) Granger of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, James Granger of Oklahoma City, OK, Preston Granger of Strawberry, Arkansas; three sisters Heather Nicole Pruett of Lakeland, Florida, Renie (Seth) Conaughty of Pocahontas, Arkansas and Kathryn Granger of Jonesboro, Arkansas; half brother Justin Bobbitt of Jonesboro, Arkansas and half sister Amanda Bobbitt of Oklahoma City, OK. He also leaves behind several cousins, nieces and nephews and a host of long-time friends. David’s celebration of life is incomplete at this time however will be updated once final.
