Mrs. Elizabeth May Blaylock

Elizabeth May Blaylock 65 of Batesville, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020 peacefully at Cave City Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas to Marion and Louis Yarbrough, she was of Baptist Faith. Elizabeth was both a loving mother and homemaker sharing over 15 years of marriage with husband John Edward Blaylock. While she had many accomplishments during her life, she was most proud of her family and cherished the times when her home was full. She was looking forward to watching two of her granddaughters graduate high school this May. Elizabeth loved country music, Conway Twitty was her favorite. She enjoyed getting out in her yard and watching her flowers grow. Elizabeth cherished her monthly shopping adventures and spending quality time with her sister. She left a special place in the hearts of all those she touched. She was preceded in death by her her husband John Edward Blaylock, her daughter Penny Lynn Yarbrough, her parents Marion and Louis (Bray) Yarbrough, her brother Roger Dumont and step mother Gladys Yarbrough. She is survived by three daughters Elizabeth (Ray) Wells of Batesville, Arkansas, Wathena Hancock of Batesville, Arkansas and Frances (John) Wright of Strawberry, Arkansas; two sons John (Crystal) Blaylock of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Joesph (Brandi) Boatman of Beebe, Arkansas; six sisters Rhonda Neimeyer of Cushman, Arkansas, Deb Yarbrough of Conroe, Texas, Glenda Reynolds of Buffalo, South Carolina, Tina Christensen and Linda Hensley both of Utah and Catherine Dumont of Baxter Springs Kansas; five brothers Glen Yarbrough of Conroe, Texas, Ray Yarbrough of Houston, Texas, Doug Yarbrough of Virginia, James Painter of Alabama and Michael Dumont of Urich, Missouri; twenty grandchildren Juvalyn Cagle of Lake Village, Indiana, Kaylynn Wells, Ray Wells, Jr, and Curtis Yarbrough all of Batesville, Arkansas, Kalissa Blaylock, Adrian Blaylock, Jaden Blaylock, Madison Blaylock, and Ryker Blaylock all of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Emily Wright, Ethan Wright, Errin Wright, and Hunter Wright all of Strawberry, Arkansas, John Boatman of McCrory, Arkansas, Liberty Boatman of Little Rock, Arkansas, Joey Boatman, Allie Boatman, Bruek Boatman and Brealynn Boatman all of Beebe, Arkansas and Lane Williams of Cave City, Arkansas; seven great grandchildren Arthur Hutchins and Penny Hutchins both of Lake Village, Indiana, Braxtin Boatman, Brentley Boatman, Zoe Boatman, and Willie Boatman, II all of McCrory, Arkansas and Evangeline Lowman of Little Rock, Arkansas; she also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and a host of long-time friends. Elizabeth’s final request has been honored by her family having a private Celebration of Life. Expressions of sympathy may be sent directly to her family.
