Ms. Carolyn Sue Bounds

June 22, 1945 - August 12, 2020

Carolyn Sue Bounds 75 of Holland, Missouri, left for her heavenly home August 12, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. She was born in Corinth, Mississippi to the late William and Mary Glidewell. Carolyn worked over 25 years as a seamstress at the Steele Garment Factory. She then worked over 20 years as a dispatcher and security guard for Harold Ives Trucking in Lonoke, Arkansas, and 2 years for McNeal Trucking in North Little Rock. While she had many accomplishments during her life, what she was most proud of was her two children and grandchildren. She cherished the time she had with family and strived to keep the grandchildren busy whether shopping at the mall, attending rodeos and fairs or swimming in the pool, Carolyn never sat still. She was always busy mowing the yard, cleaning the pool, or seeking out a new adventure with the kids. Carolyn left a special place in the hearts of all those she touched. She was preceded in death by her best friend and love of her life, husband Jerry Wayne Feistel; her parents William and Mary (Hathcock) Glidewell and two brothers Bobby Glidewell and Jerry Glidewell. Carolyn is survived by two children, her son Terry (Kim) Ferguson of Armorel, Arkansas and her daughter Tina (Harry) Keller of Steele, Missouri; three grandchildren Brittany (Cody) Hogan of Leachville, Arkansas, Harry Keller III of Steele, Missouri and Kaylee Doucette of Armorel, Arkansas; one brother Larry (Vickie) Glidewell of Steele, Missouri; one sister Pat (Lamar) Ellis of Blytheville, Arkansas; she also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and a host of long-time friends. There will be a celebration of Carolyn’s life at 11 am Saturday August 15, 2020 at Holland Baptist Church in Holland, Missouri with Brother John Dunavant officiating. Tri-City LLC Crematory Funeral Home is honored and privileged to serve the family of Carolyn Bounds. Online condolences may be expressed at www.Tri-CityLLC.com .
