Mr. Davie Lee Koch Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Davie Lee “David” Koch, 63, of Osceola, died unexpectedly on Saturday November 27, 2021. Our hearts are breaking today as we realize the depth of our loss. David never met a stranger and never forgot a face. Born and raised in Osceola, David married his high school sweetheart Rita Sue Morgan. In 2006 he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial Technology from Arkansas State University. He was employed for over 20 years in Computer Operations at American Greetings and was a deacon at the First Baptist Church. David looked forward to Osceola High School football games and for years was the voice of the play by plays. He loved his Arkansas Razorbacks and was so happy with their success this season. His life reflected his faith and his selfless love and devotion for his family. David was a caring man and will always be remembered as a loyal friend, devoted family member and a man who would go out of his way to help anyone in need. He had a big heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He is preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Joann (Gray) Koch; two brothers Roy Koch and Don Koch; one sister Jean Bishop. David leaves behind his best friend and wife of 43 years Rita Koch of Osceola, AR; two daughters Meredith (Draper) Champion of Marion, AR and Chelsea (Shawn) Gambill of Brookland, AR; five grandchildren Colin Smith, Annalisse Champion, Abree Gambill, Londyn Champion and Breckin Gambill along with nieces, nephews and life long friends. There will be a Celebration of Life at the 1st Baptist Church in Osceola on Wednesday December 1st at 2 PM.
