Mrs. Margie Cobb Seitz

October 3, 1935 - March 9, 2022

Margie Cobb Seitz, 86, of Gosnell, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Gosnell Health and Rehab. She was born October 3, 1935, in Earl, Arkansas to Duran and Vera Cobb. Margie loved baking, cooking, and entertaining family and friends with joy and laughter that defined who she was. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. They were her life. She was a member of 40 & 8 Voiture West Memphis American Legion Post 53 and loved to socialize at all the dinners and special events. She accomplished so much in her life despite many obstacles. She had an unshakeable faith in God. She was selfless, always putting others before herself. She had a passion for life which was displayed in everything she did. Margie was beautiful on the inside and out. She exuded warmth and love with grace to whoever she touched. She was preceded in death by her parents Duran and Vera (Hill) Cobb, her daughter Teresa Sprague and two brothers Charles Cobb and Jim Cobb. Margie leaves behind her husband Frederick Seitz of Gosnell, Arkansas; one son Myron (Caroline) Brand of Elyria, Ohio; two daughter Cynthia Ann Cutts of Winterhaven, Florida and Melinda (Tim) Frerichs of Hollywood, Florida; one granddaughter Ashley (Jim) Bradley of Ridgeville, Ohio; two grandsons Bradley (Mandy) Sprague of Proctor, Arkansas and Jeremy (Anna) Sprague of Memphis, Tennessee; along with nieces, nephews and life long friends. There will be a Celebration of Margie’s life at 1pm on Friday, April 1st at Colonial Baptist Church in Marion. Following the celebration she will be laid to rest at Crittenden Memorial Park Cemetery.
