Mr. Terry Randall Burdin

June 29, 1950 - January 23, 2022

Terry Randall Burdin, 72, of Corning, Arkansas, was called to his heavenly home on January 23, 2022. He was born on June 29, 1950, in Rector, Arkansas, and was the son of the late Ruby Maddux. Terry was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He faithfully served his community as the pastor of God’s Church of Forgiveness and Fellowship in Piggott, Arkansas. He lived his life in service of the Lord and was always ready to help those in need. He was a loving father and friend. Terry was a dedicated husband united in marriage with Janie Ervin on February 14, 2020. Terry was preceded in death by his daughter Dana Burdin Brand, his mother Ruby Maddux, brother Benjamin Schmidt and several aunts and uncles. Terry is survived by his best friend and wife, Janie Ervin Burdin of Corning, AR; one daughter Tonya and husband Jacob Evans of Washington, IN; four sons Terry Burdin II and wife Lindsey of Springdale, AR, James Burdin of Crossville, IL, Philip Burdin of Albion, IL and Joshua Burdin of Springfield, IL; Grandchildren Bailey and Libby Burdin of Poplar Bluff, MO, Aaliyah Walter of Grayville, IL, Madison Stepro of Grayville, IL , Anton Linder of West Salem, IL, Trystin Brand of Grayville, IL and Justin McKenzie of Washington, IN; one great grandchild Xaiden Prindle and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at the Clay County Fairgrounds Kitchen on Saturday, January 29. 2022 at 11 am. Burial will follow the service at Hitt Cemetery in Success, Arkansas.
