Shirley Katherine Davis, Brack, peacefully departed this earthly realm on January 12, 2024, at the age of 84, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born on January 17, 1939, in Harrisburg, Arkansas, she was blessed to be the daughter of Eulis and Lenoa Brack. Reverend Katherine exemplified a life rooted in profound faith, humbly surrendering to the will of the Lord with unwavering trust and devotion. Her spiritual journey was nurtured wholeheartedly everywhere she was present and within the walls of Walking by Faith Ministries, where she found solace, guidance, and strength to face life's challenges. With an unwavering belief in The Lord, Katherine embraced a deep reverence for life and a profound respect for all of creation. Throughout her journey, Katherine embodied the virtues of humility, gratitude, and unconditional love. Her radiant spirit illuminated the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. A dedicated homemaker, she poured her heart and soul into creating a warm and loving home for her family. Her selflessness and unwavering commitment to her loved ones will forever be a testament to her extraordinary character. She was known for her vivacious personality, always keeping her feet moving and talking non-stop. Katherine had a story to tell for every occasion. Katherine’s family held a special place in her heart, and the bonds of love she shared with them were immeasurable. She cherished the precious moments spent with her children, Donnie, Connie, and Bobby Davis. Katherine's legacy will continue through her six beloved grandchildren: Little Donnie, Michael, Paula, Stephanie, Vanessa, and Samantha. Her lineage expanded through 11 great grandchildren and 10 great, great grandchildren, a testament to the love and unity she fostered within her family. Katherine also leaves behind three siblings Geradine, James, and Betty. As Katherine now joins her beloved husband, Cleo Davis, her son JR Davis, her granddaughter Katlyn Cole, her sister Phyllis Roberts, and her brothers Bill Brack and Donald “Duck” Brack in eternal peace, may their spirits find solace in each other's embrace. Katherine's life was also touched by special friends, Jimmy, and Betty Ross, who provided support throughout her journey. Additionally, she leaves behind a vast community of friends and church family who were privileged to share in her life's journey. The memories of her kindness, grace, and unwavering devotion will forever be cherished. A memorial service, dedicated to celebrating Katherine’s extraordinary existence, will be held at Walking By Faith Ministries Church in Trumann on Saturday February 3rd at 2 PM with Brother Jimmy Stone and Brother Bobby Brown officiating. As we gather to honor her life and legacy, let us remember her as a shining example of faith, humility, and gratitude, and may her spirit continue to guide and inspire us all.
